The Jeep Grand Cherokee is one of the most popular Jeep models among consumers. Debuting in 1992, the Cherokee has offered off road capabilities in a comfortable, luxurious SUV. Over the years, there have been numerous additions to the Cherokee lineup. For the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, there are 5 different trim levels and today, we are going to look at each of them to see exactly what you get with each.
Latitude
The base model on the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee is going to be the Latitude trim model. For those wanting the most affordable option, this trim level is going to be the one to look into. Although it is the base model, it still comes with attractive features such as a 7″ touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 17″ wheels, and a redesigned interior that is sure to make a statement.Each trim level above the Latitude will include the same features, but will have upgraded or additional features as well.
Latitude Plus
Building off the Latitude’s great features is the Latitude Plus, the next step above the base model 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. With this trim level, you will get a few new features that make the Plus a little more attractive. The Latitude Plus includes cloth and premium vinyl seats with storm blue stitching, a leather wrapped steering wheel, rear cross path detection, and blind spot monitoring. These options come standard on the Latitude Plus with a few options being replaceable by similar items of your choosing.
Altitude
The 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude features a 2.0L turbo engine, 18” gloss black wheels, a 7” touch screen with Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and Sirius radio, blacked out badging, a leather wrapped steering wheel and gloss black roof rails.
Limited
As the last trim level that is modeled for the everyday commuter, the Limited trim level provides many of the same features as the Limited Plus, but with some need to know upgrades. For the exterior, you will get 7 color options to choose from including a few metallic paints to really give your Jeep an extra flair. This trim level offers an upgrade from the standard 7″ screen to a larger 8.4 ” screen. You will also notice an increase to the cargo capacity and Nappa leather trimmed seats.
High Altitude
Featuring many of the same features of the regular altitude trim level, the high altitude gets a few nice upgrades. You will get the 3.2L MultiAir V6 engine with engine stop/start technology, 19” painted wheels, an 8.4” touchscreen, black leather-trimmed seats, and uniquely painted exterior and interior accents.
Trailhawk
If offroading is more of your thing, then there are a couple of trim level built with the offroader in mind. The first of these being the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. The Trailhawk will come with a 3.2L Pentastar V6 engine and a nine speed automatic transmission. This will include the famous electronic stop/start technology. The Trailhawk will also sport 17″ polished/painted aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, an 8.4″ touchscreen, integrated voice command with bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Off Road Pages. What really sets this Jeep apart is the Trail Rated 1″ raised ride height, off-road suspension, skid plates, red tow hooks and matte black hood decal.
Overland
The 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland was built with the trails in mind. Featuring many of the same features as the Altitude Plus, the overland has a few more creature comforts designed to make this Jeep a customer favorite. With this trim level, you will get a 3.2L Pentastar V6 engine, 19” polished wheels, an 8.4” touchscreen, heated leather trimmed front and rear seats, leather wrapped instrument panel, power liftgate, Alpine 9 speaker audio system and chrome front tow hooks.
Trailhawk Elite
Finishing off this lineup is the Trailhawk lite. With the same 3.2L engine and 9 speed transmission, this Jeep has the heart of the standard Jeep Grand Cherokee, but the amenities of a luxury car. This trim level includes 17” wheels, 8.4” touchscreen, heated front and rear leather seats, windshield wiper de-icer, remote start, power liftgate, tonneau cover, and many memory features.
